OVERWATCH Mission Critical Raises Money for Four Seaon Fighters
OVERWATCH raises tens of thousands of dollars to support a charitable organization dedicated to providing unique outdoor activities for veterans and first responders.
Austin, TX – (October ##, 2021) –OVERWATCH Mission Critical, a strategic data center consultancy based in Austin, has announced that the company raised approximately $30,000 for the Four Season Fighters charity over the past three months through a series of golf and poker events.
Four Season Fighters is a veteran-led charitable organization with a mission to help veterans, firefighters and police officers whose lives have been altered permanently because of the sacrifices they made while serving our country and communities. The charity’s goal is to help these veterans and first responders pursue physical activities they once thought were out of reach — either because they didn’t have the will, or because they didn’t think they were physically able.
“We are honored to be associated with and support organizations like Four Season Fighters,” said Kirk Offel, CEO of OVERWATCH. “Their mission is consistent with ours – and that is to help veterans rediscover their purpose in life. The money we helped raise for Four Season Fighters will go towards activities that will make what these veterans once thought impossible, possible.”
Four Season Fighters was founded nearly a decade ago by a number of veterans that served in the U.S. Army during the Afghanistan War. One of the co-founders, Jose Martinez, served for three years in the Army during Operating Enduring Freedom and suffered the loss of three limbs when he stepped on an I.E.D. Despite his injuries, Jose remains active in surfing, archery, hunting and camping.
“We are speechless to say the least for the money raised by the OVERWATCH team,” said Jose Martinez, Co-Founder and Vice President for Four Season Fighters. “This year has been an emotional roller coaster for a lot of our veterans, but because of OVERWATCH we are going to change and save more lives.”
